With Enclos for 6+ years Sophie steered the company EPD efforts from 2019 on, building a sustainability focus group, steering circularity workshops, innovative low-carbon curtain wall initiatives, getting Enclos' EPD across the finish line in 2023. Since 2022, Sophie sits on the Board of Directors of the Façade Tectonics Institute, focusing on its Embodied Carbon Working Group efforts and Educational Committee.
For years, Sophie has supported the growth of international trade conferences, serving on the Advisory Boards of key industry events such as, more recently, Glass Performance Days 2025 (Finland), Future Facades 2025 (Netherlands), and the biannual Façade Tectonics World Congresses in various capacities throughout the years (2013-Present).
In 2024, Sophie joined the Advisory Board of the Reuse People, a California based non-profit organization accelerating construction materials reuse.
Sophie has been a regular Peer Reviewer for Scientific Journals, and serves as an Associate Editor for the ASCE Journal of Architectural Engineering.
Sophie joined Lisa Rammig, Linda Hildebrand & Hannah Jurgenmeister in the 2022 kickoff of this industry-wide collaborative dedicated to glass circularity. She has supported various workshops and initiatives for this group. Today the collaborative counts over 80+ active international professionals.
Sophie has advised multiple Masters Thesis projects, on topics ranging from Ultra-Thin Glass, Curtain Wall Embodied Carbon, and several Circularity Thesis Research projects, with USC, UC Berkeley, and SCI-Arc.
